I know you posted this a couple of months ago, but I felt I should say, my boyfriend introduced me to the game and I absolutely LOVE it. Now, I'm considered a nerd by many, and while I'm familiar with D&D, I've never played it. My boyfriend is oh-so-happy to consider me the love of his life when I get into stuff like this, as I'm a pretty big gamer myself--from the moment I heard about munchkin I wanted to play it.

SO I say, YES, it's very girlfriend friendly, even more so when said girlfriend is already into that type of thing.

PST is also my favourite CRPG of all time. Currently, though, I'm playing Fallout 2 for the first time. For as long as I can remember, there has always been a divide in the fan base between these two games. Did you ever try FO2?

Looks like more people trying to milk from the success from others. If this book was written for D&D 3-3.5 I could understand its existence but I am assuming it is for 4e, which really is not needed. If a new gamer is unable to create a character with the 4e PHB they probably should be playing, simply because they are unwilling or unable to read(p.27 PHP4e). With that being said, i can't wait to one day walk through my local book store and find, The Complete Idiots Guide to Writing a Complete Idiots Guide Book.
